Because our application operates completely client-side:

• We do not collect or transmit the contents of any uploaded PDF, image, text file, or screenshot.
• We do not record file names, file byte sizes, or extracted OCR text.
• We do not store user files in any database or cloud storage bucket.

2. Technical Infrastructure & CDN Logs

SafeWebUtil is distributed as static assets via Cloudflare Pages. When you visit our website, Cloudflare's edge servers automatically log standard HTTP request metadata (such as your IP address, browser type, referral URL, and timestamp) for security, caching, and DDoS defense. These CDN logs do not contain any file data because your browser never sends file payload requests.

3. Cookies & Advertising (Google AdSense)

We may partner with third-party advertising networks such as Google AdSense to sustain the free hosting of this service. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this or other websites. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or through standard regional cookie consent banners.

4. Local Browser Storage

Certain tools (such as OCR language packs) may store downloaded dictionary data in your browser's local Cache Storage so that subsequent visits do not re-download the language files. You can clear this cache at any time through your browser settings.
